After we've done all the washing and ironing, packed our own and the kids' suitcases, stocked up on sun cream, exchanged our holiday money and found a neighbour to look after the dog – it's easy to see why many of us feel pressured and stressed in the run-up to a family holiday. And when we return from our hols after a good rest, so unfortunately does our stress, as we have to do it all again...only in reverse!

Planning little things in advance can really make a difference and help parents take the stress out of family holidays. Checking all passports are in date, booking travel insurance, making sure you get the value for money and getting the suitcases out nice and early can make a huge difference. Ensuring your destination will be a hit with the kids is also essential – after all, happy and content children equals happy mum and dad.

Booking a proven and trusted family friendly resort, such as Orlando in Florida, can also help to ease parents through, because everything is there in one place and new attractions appear all the time. The parks are unveiling new attractions all the time, including Manta at Sea World, American Idol at Walt Disney World and the soon to open rip-ride rocket at Universal, which will definitely keep the kids from complaining!

Our Web TV Show with travel author and presenter Sarah Tucker will unpack some top tips to solve parents' pre-holiday stress, along with practical advice on picking a family-friendly resort this summer. For a headache-free holiday, send in your questions now.
