Many of us are guilty of buying expensive moisturisers in a desperate bid to keep our youthful looks, not to mention those hitting the gym three times a week in an effort to get that Adonis style body, yet one muscle we don’t seem to pay quite so much attention to is our brain.

As a vital organ, the brain controls every aspect of our body; walking, talking, blinking, dreaming, the list is endless, but just as we may have noticed our body shape transform due to lack of exercise, so too can our creative juices dry up if our brain is not put through its paces.

Games such as Sudoku and last years’ revolutionary game Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training are a great example of how to exercise our brain. The hugely popular computer game is launching its second instalment ‘More Brain Training: How Old is Your Brain?’ combining mathematical, cognitive and language-based tasks to help stimulate your brain and ultimately find out your brain age.

Join brain expert Dr Barry Gibb as he discusses the importance of keeping your brain healthy and takes us through some simple tasks we can all do to improve the power of the brain. Whether you are eight or eighty, it’s never too late to get your brain into shape and who knows you might just like it. Beats the gym!
