They may have just celebrated their 70th birthday but it seems Y-fronts still have a firm place in modern men’s wardrobes and hearts. A nation-wide survey on British men’s relationship with their pants showed that most are in serious need of a new pair slipped into their stocking this year. Research by menswear brand Fruit of the Loom showed a surprisingly high number of men are following the retro trend, with one in ten 18 – 40 year old guys choosing classic Y-fronts as their pants of choice. The survey also revealed that while most of the nation’s men change their smalls every day, 1 in 20 leave it three to four days before putting on a clean pair.
